Γεννητούρια στο ζωολογικό κήπο Πάφου – Η Λούνα απέκτησε τετράδυμα!

Μια  σπάνια, για τα δεδομένα των λιονταριών τετράδυμη γέννηση καταγράφηκε στον ζωολογικό κήπο της Πέγειας.

Η λευκή λιονταρίνα Λούνα γέννησε πριν από ένα περίπου μήνα τέσσερα λιονταράκια τα οποία μάλιστα φροντίζει η ίδια. Πατέρας είναι ο Δίας.

Σύμφωνα με τον διευθυντή του ζωολογικού κήπου Ιούλιο Χριστοφόρου στην άγρια φύση συνήθως τα λιοντάρια γεννούν ένα ή δυο λιονταράκια και είναι πολύ σπάνιο ακόμη και για τα ζώα που έχουν καλύτερες συνθήκες σε ζωολογικούς κήπους να γεννούν και να μεγαλώνουν τέσσερα λιονταράκια.
