Σε λειτουργία 8 νέες σταθερές κάμερες σε Λάρνακα και Λεμεσό

Επικαιρότητα

Τη Δευτέρα 5 Φεβρουαρίου 2024, το σύστημα φωτοεπισήμανσης επεκτείνεται περαιτέρω στις επαρχίες Λεμεσού και Λάρνακας.

Συνολικά θα λειτουργήσουν 8 νέες σταθερές κάμερες στα ακόλουθα 4 σημεία.

Επαρχία Λεμεσού

Θα ενεργοποιηθούν δυο συσκευές στη Συμβολή των Λεωφόρων 28ης Οκτωβρίου και της Ιάκωβου Τομπάζη.

Δυο συσκευές στη συμβολή Λεωφόρων Αμαθούντος έναντι Ξενοδοχείου Αρσινόη.

Δυο στη συμβολή Λεωφόρων Αμαθούντος και οδού  Αριάδνης.

Ήδη στην επαρχία Λεμεσού λειτουργούν τέσσερις σταθερές κάμερες στη Διασταύρωση  των Λεωφόρων Αρχιεπισκόπου  Μακαρίου Γ΄-  Νίκου Παττίχη και  Αρχιεπισκόπου  Λεοντίου Α΄ και τέσσερις στη διασταύρωση των Λεωφόρων Αρχιεπισκόπου Μακαρίου Γ΄ και της  Αγίας Ζώνης.

Επαρχία Λάρνακας

Επιπρόσθετα θα ενεργοποιηθούν δυο συσκευές σε τμήμα του δρόμου Κιτίου-Μαζωτού για έλεγχο της ταχύτητας.

Σημειώνεται  ότι, ήδη στην Επαρχία Λεμεσού και Λάρνακας χρησιμοποιούνται για έλεγχο της ταχύτητας κινητές κάμερες.

Στόχος σύμφωνα με την Αστυνομία είναι πάντοτε, η μείωση των σοβαρών και θανατηφόρων οδικών συγκρούσεων, καθώς και η εμπέδωση της ορθής οδικής συνείδησης, στη χώρα μας.
